Hey, Thanks for the Nashville Scene
In a surprising twist, I got to write a public thank-you letter to the Southern Festival of Books for the Nashville Scene. Spoiler alert: if your book is in this photo, your name is in my story.

During the pitch meeting for “Hey, Thanks” I didn’t have anything to pitch, so when they got to me I sarcastically asked, “What am I going to write about, the Bellevue restaurant robot?” John and I had been going to this new-to-us Indian restaurant in Bellevue called 615 Chutney and I had posted a bunch of stories about this robot that brings your food to the table. Well, the joke was on me because Patrick told me to write it.
